What We Do

Welcome to The LynList!

Established in 2020, the creation of The LynList was inspired by a growing awareness of the disparity in institutional fundraising resources available to independent artists and small-non profit arts organizations. While there are grant search engines available, it takes a significant amount of time, resources, and familiarity with the institutional funding landscape to know which opportunities are relevant to you or your organization. Given our  experience in preparing award winning proposals for a variety of artists and projects, The LynList shares applicable institutional funding opportunities and provides accessibly priced support for artists during their application process.  

Based on the current resources and needs of independent artists, The LynList is curated and compiled based on our day-to-day experience as interdisciplinary grant writers. The LynList includes funding options for performing arts nonprofits as well as independent artists. The LynList also offers an editing service that provides members with tailored feedback based upon our knowledge and experience preparing widely-funded proposals.

Our monthly Hangout, open to all members, is a one hour community space where you can bring general questions related to grant preparation or your search for institutional funding, suggest topics for discussion, and find a place to connect with others in the creative community. We realize there are many artists grappling with the pursuit of securing funding for their work. We can and want to help simplify the process for you.
